Aluminum Bar Grating

Aluminum Bar Grating is lightweight, corrosion resistant, non-sparking, compared with other steel bar grating, it is lighter in weight without compromising to the load capacity and mechanical strength.

Manufactured from ASTM B221, 6063 or 6061 alloy, aluminum grating is available in four types products.

Swaged Rectangular Aluminum Grating

Swaged I-Bar Aluminum Grating

Swaged Flush-Top Aluminum Grating

Aluminum Press Lock Bar Grating

Swaged Rectangular Aluminum Grating

  • Pressure locked by permanently attaching cross bars to bearing bars through a pressure applied swaging process.
  • Bearing bar sizes range from 1" x 1/8" through 2-1/2" x 3/16" in 1/4" increments
  • Bearing bar spacing of 1-3/16", 15/16", 11/16" and 7/16" c.c. with cross bar spacing of 4" or 2".
  • Press locked bar grating serrated surface can be provided when skid resistance is needed.

Swaged "I-Bar" Aluminum Grating

  • Pressure locked aluminum grating which utilizes an “I” shaped bearing bar.
  • Bearing bar sizes range from 1" x 1/4" through 2-1/2" x 1/4" in 1/4" increments.
  • Bearing bar spacing of 1-3/16", 15/16", 11/16" and 7/16" c.c. with cross bar spacing of 4" or 2".
  • Design consideration of the aluminum grating allows for the same load carrying capacity at less
  • Grating weight per square foot than rectangular bar, which results in cost savings.

Swaged Flush-Top Aluminum Grating

  • Pressure locked by permanently attaching cross bars to bearing bars through a pressure applied swaging process.
  • Bearing bar sizes range from 1" x 1/8" through 2-1/2" x 3/16" in 1/4" increments.
  • Bearing bar spacing of 1-3/16", 15/16", 11/16" and 7/16" c.c. with cross bar spacing of 4" or 2".
  • Press locked bar grating serrated surface can be provided on aluminum grating when skid resistance is needed.

Aluminum Press Lock Bar Grating

  • Bar grating made up of interlocking perpendicular bars.
  • Bearing bar sizes range from 1" x 1/8" through 2-1/2" x 3/16" in 1/4" increments.
  • Bearing bar spacing of 1-3/16", 15/16", 11/16" and 7/16" c.c. with cross bar spacing of 4" or 2".
  • Hydraulic pressure is used to bond the slotted bars together, locking the deep cross bar into the notched bearing bar.
  • Smooth, clean look due to a flush top rectangular cross bar.
  • Offers strong lateral stability.
  • Used in architectural design because of clean look and tight spacing.
  • 1/4" and 1/2" openings.
  • Slip resistant surfaces for floor grating available upon request.

Advantages

  • Lightweight than other steel bar gratings.
  • Unique interlocked structure supplies high strength and durable structure.
  • High strength and load capacity.
  • Good anti-slipping performance for safety protection.
  • Self-cleaning and less maintenance save your labor costs.
  • Excellent corrosion and rust resistance performance for durability.
  • Quick and easy installation save labor costs and times for projects.
