Razor Wire
Razor wire also named concertina, barbed tape or barbed tape wire, it can be installed to achieve the effect of fighting and stopping the aggressive perimeter intruders, with piecing and cutting razor blades mounted at the top of the wall also special designs making climbing and touching extremely difficult. Manufacturing Process
Razor wire machine punches the steel strip into certain razor shape. Then, the punched steel strip will be attached to the core steel wire by pressing and reshaping. At the output end, the razor wire will be packed in either straight line or concertina spiral to fit the applications.
Material Grade
1- Core Wire
- (1) High tensile wire in galvanized finish same as galvanization type in barbed wire
- (2) Stainless steel wire in 430, 201, 304 and 316
2- Steel Strip
- (1) Hot dipped galvanized steel strip with zinc weight 60-80g/sqm
- (2) High Zinc Volume galvanized steel strip with zinc weight 200g/sqm to 260g/sqm
- (3) Stainless steel strip in 430, 201, 304 and 316

Commonly, there are four kinds of razor wire: concertina razor wire, single coil razor wire, razor flat fence and straight razor wire and welded razor wire
1- Concertina Razor Wire
Concertina Razor Wire is also known as crossed razor barbed wire. Two pieces of stainless steel razor wire or zinc-coated razor wire are bound together by clips to make it stronger. The spiral intersecting barbed wire presents an intersecting shape after opening with beautiful feature and practicality.
2- Single Coil Razor Wire
Single coil razor wire is a common type of the concertina wire, this kind of razor wire is installed without clips, it runs in natural loops on walls and fence. Single coil razor wire is widely used in military field, prisons, detention houses, government buildings and other national security facilities, it is also used as fence for cottage and society fence and other private buildings.
3- Razor Flat Fence
Razor flat fence is also called razor wire flat wrap. It is a series of razor wire coils clip into the penal forms for fencing and security purpose. Razor wire (flat profile) is designed to protect facilities in urban area where the high-security concertina can't be used because of its bulky size. Razor wire flat wrap is installed against an exciting smooth wire mesh fence and substantially improves the effectiveness of the fence. Installed on this basis, innocent persons are protected from injury by the smooth wire mesh.
4- Straight Razor Wire
This kind of straight razor wire can be Galvanized straight line razor wire, PVC coating straight line razor wire, Stainless steel straight line razor wire. It is made of 0.5mm thick hot dipped galvanized steel sheet and 2.5mm thick high-carbon galvanized wire. It does not bear clips or wire stapling rings.
5- Welded Razor Mesh
Welded razor mesh is a multi-functional, high security mesh fencing made of straight-blade nettings welded together, packaging into a roll form for transport.
